The food is good quality and well cooked. I normally get us breakfast sandwiches on a Saturday morning so I can't comment on any other foods. One thing which is annoying is the staff regularly get one of our orders wrong because they don't pay attention to what is being said.

Lovely little cafe. Staff was friendly and although it was quite busy we didn't have to wait very long for our food. We ordered sandwiches and a breakfast and the food was lovely, not greasy like you sometimes find with some cafes. looking forward to coming back when we are able to eat in. 5 stars.

Stopped in for a breakfast as only a mile from the site we were working on. Number 2 breakfast with a cuppa was £7.20 & couldn't fault it. Delivered to our table within 5 minutes. We'd go back again

This little hidden gem af a cafe was such a lovely surprise. We had a tasty bacon sandwich on fresh crusty bread. They generous mug of tea was hot and full of flavour. This cafe definitely needs a return visit.

Have visited the Village Cafe many times and have found it to be really good, friendly staff and affordable too. Fully recommend it, don’t be put off by the neg heads with their fictional reviews, try it yourself and make your own mind up. Not sure where the negative reviewers get off, it’s a cafe that sells fried food, not a Michelin star restaurant. If you want so called excellence, then go to one of Gordon Ramsay’s places!
